Chuck Wilson
Executive Director
National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA)

Chuck Wilson is the executive director of the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA). NSCA is the leading not-for-profit association representing the commercial electronic systems industry.  Wilson joined the NSCA staff as executive director in 1996. 

 

At the helm of NSCA, much of his time is spent assisting contractors with the challenges of today’s business environment. He often gives lectures and presentations at key industry events, and has served as a subject matter expert in the development of many industry training initiatives. 

 

Wilson is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, the American Society of Association Executives, and the Construction Specification Institute. He was the recipient of CSI’s Technical Commendation Award for his work on the MasterFormat™ Expansion Task Team. Wilson has also been published in numerous leading trade journals, including Sound & Communications, Sound & Video Contractor, Systems Contractor News, Archi-Tech and ProAV among others.  

 

Prior to joining NSCA as a staff member, Wilson was a partner at Communications Engineering Company, a successful low-voltage electronics contracting company. He has been active in NSCA since its inception, serving on the Expo committee and board of directors. Going on 30 years in the low-voltage electronics contracting industry, Wilson provides valuable core knowledge of systems integration as well as the inner workings of the industry. 

 


 

Gary Kayye, CTS
founder of rAVe Publications

Gary Kayye, CTS is founder of rAVe [Publications], a USA-based publishing firm that specializes in writing about the ProAV and HomeAV markets, technology and products in a very opinionated, editorial-style. Recognized as InfoComm’s Educator of the Year in 2004 and NSCA’s Instructor of the Year in 2007, Gary founded rAVe, after having spent 11 years at Extron and AMX as VP of Sales and Marketing.  Gary also teaches Marketing at the Journalism School at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

 


 

Lyle Bunn
Principal and Strategy Architect, BUNN Co.

Lyle Bunn is a highly regarded independent consultant, advisor, commentator and educator to investors, operators, suppliers and users of Digital Signage and Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) Media – broadly recognized as a leading figure in the high growth Dynamic Media industry. He has contributed to the planning, deployment and operations of hundreds of networks.

 

He has over 100 published articles and whitepapers to his credit and he has served as the Writer/Editor of two USA Today DS supplements.

 

He is a member of the Academy Faculty of InfoComm International, Advisory Boards of DSE and DS Show/KioskCom and Judge of the DIGI Awards.

 

His eBook “Digital Signage Planning Guide” eBook is in its 4th edition and over 1000 people have been trained using the “SPEED” Digital Signage Training Program” which he developed.

 

Lyle was only individual named n the 2005 Digital Signage Top Ten List, among Thompson, 3M, Clear Channel, Focus Media and others.

 


 

David Keene
Executive Editor, NewBay Media

David Keene (dkeene@nbmedia.com) is Executive Editor of the Systems Group at NewBay Media, which publishes Digital Signage Magazine, AV Technology magazine, and Systems Contractor News. He is also the Chairman of the Judges Committee of the DIGI Awards–the industry’s most comprehensive Awards program to recognize and reward top digital signage rollouts and products. Keene is also the Director of the Tech Track conference sessions at the Digital Signage Expo, and is a Judge for the APEX Awards–the Digital Signage Awards given at the Digital Signage Expo to digital signage suppliers. Keene is also on the Board of Advisors of DSEG (Digital Signage Experts Group).
